Hutchison Ports EIT has committed itself to supporting the communities in which it operates, focusing on a number of educational, social service projects, medical initiatives, efforts to protect the environment and other causes that benefit or improve the quality of life of the communities worldwide.

We have generated an important link to the community, our ongoing campaigns include the most vulnerable sectors of society, supporting institutions such as shelters for children, nursing homes, where the role of our employees is a paramount, because with their volunteer work, we bring joy and happiness to children, homeless individuals and families who need it most.

The most important community service program is called Dock School, which actively promotes that all member ports in the group adopt an educational institution with limited resources in order to improve their infrastructure. The program has grown significantly since it was first implemented in 1992. Nowadays, more than 20 schools have benefited from this program.
