Hutchison Ports EIT is located in the Port of Ensenada, 110km south of the US border

It represents the new alternative in handling containerized cargo to and from Asia, Central and South America for the northwest of Mexico and southwest of the USA.

Ensenada is an entrepreneurial port due to its high commercial activity and has an important influence on four agricultural and commercial centers of the state: Tijuana, Mexicali, Tecate and the San Quintin Valley.

It is ideally located to provide import and export services to manufacturing facilities and assembly plants, due to its strategic location near major highways and the ports of San Diego, Long Beach and Los Angeles it is considered as the logistics center for markets like the US, Central and South America and the Middle East.

In general cargo, Hutchison Ports EIT realizes mainly operations with durum wheat of export quality, and likewise, an increase has reflected in all services provided to the general cargo such as steel.

The access to Hutchison Ports EIT and to the Port of Ensenada is by the highway to Tijuana, the road to Tecate and the highway to Mexicali.
